Yes, I know most of you who care already saw this announcement and I am way behind...
David Tennant to play Richard II for the RSC in the winter 2013 season!
Oh gods, can I really justify splurging on RSC membership when I so rarely get to Stratford? But if I don't, I won't have a hope of getting any tickets... and do I stump up £40 for the standard membership, and risk all the tickets disappearing in the 4 days when the £100 Shakespeare's Circle people get them first?
(I got tickets for the 2008 Hamlet without any priority RSC membership at all, but I have a feeling that after the buzz that created, demand'll be even huger this time around...)
(Thought; would anyone be prepared to split the cost of a Shakespeare's Circle with me and then one of us could buy the other's tickets?...)
