If there is someone on your friends list who makes your world a better
place just because they exist and who you would not have met (in real
life or not) without the internet, then post this same sentence in your
journal.
THATS ALL!!!!
In other news:
Single people: let it go. V-Day is not a big deal. This was the first V-Day in AGES where I actually HAD a Valentine other than my mother, and you wanna know what I did? Straight up: I fucked, ate pizza, and played Resident Evil 4. Real big deal folks. It's not like I don't do those things every other day (aside from the fact that the sex was a little more intense than usual, and that was on Jon's part =P). Corporate marketing scheme or not (though I'm to understand that V-Day is supposed to be a lot older than would allow for it to have been the invention of corporations, and if the "marketing opportunities" alone are what makes it not worthy of minor celebration, than I guess anniversaries or Christmas aren't worth it either =P), it's seriously not some holy magical day where all couples on the earth ascend into heaven for a day of blissful love and the exchange of chocolate hearts, leaving all of the lowly singles to dwell alone, lamenting their abysmal lonely existence with another night of movies/masturbation/crying. Trust me: you'll live. =P
For those who DO make it a big deal: money well spent. Just don't be upset when the bitch lets her dog pee on the giant panda you gave her that was decorated with some of your own personal artifacts and even had it's own little baby panda with a spiked necklace for that added personal touch, the idea of which you lovingly thought up and spent your measly middle-class-high-school-kid allowance on under the mistaken impression that it would be a symbol of your love for her and she would cherish and protect it...
...I sure learned my lesson. =P
Oh yeah, and I finally got around to downgrading the black PSP. Rocking a small NES library (notably, Tetris and the Ninja Gaiden series), Streets of Rage 2/3, Sonic, Shinobi 3, and even a Game Gear emulator with wireless multiplayer on the go (why no one has yet done this for the other emulators, I can't say) is definitely reason enough for me to love my black PSP again. Now I seriously can't wait for the 1 gig card to arrive; I hear the NeoGeo CD games run very nicely on a PSP.
