Some minor updates:
A: I got an interview at the FIU bookstore on Monday at noon. Hopefully I get the job so I can try harder to not be a bum. =P
B: Ma decided to hand me down my grandmothers car. I certainly would have preferred to aquire it under different circumstances, but nonetheless, I now own a car.
C: As a result of having a car, I now have incentive to go out and get a license, which lead to the following conversation between myself and Andres.
Azagtoth999: dude i got the car
nothingxs: can you drive it
Azagtoth999: all they need to do is recharge the battery and i'm set
Azagtoth999: now i have a reason to get my license
nothingxs: good luck
nothingxs: you'll fail the test 4 times

So I have to pass the test on my first try or else I owe babycakes lunch. IT'S ON!
D: I've gotten a few replies to the new ads, but it's not looking so good. The guitarist still has yet to contact me about a time and place to try him out, and the first keyboardist I'm trying out just admitted to me that he hasn't played keys in about 2 years. I still have to call the second keyboardist to see what's good, and I only have one drummer on standby. I do, however, have a TON of people on standby for vocals, but I could give less of a shit because I could do it myself if need be.
So I've come to a new decision: I'm going to give it a good little while. Within the next few months, if I can't find people who fit my needs, I'm going to start another project and put RTD on hold (as a solo/side project for the time being). I REALLY don't want to do that, but I also really need to get out there and start doing shows, so if it comes down to it, I'm going to just start another project and just do some really heavy shit (some melody, but more of a straight up thrash/death thing than melo-death). I already have it planned out: myself on guitar and vocals, George on bass, and then all I need is another guitarist and a drummer, both of which are far easier to find in this scene than a decent keyboardist.
Well, hopefully it doesn't come down to that.
