How true that being at the right place at the right time is up for interpretation
I've been working at this spot for a while now and things have always been inconsistent. Foods, employees, drug use, drink prices, weekly schedules, responsibilities, employers, hours of operation, liquor, knives, forks, and spoons. straws.
Finally it looks as if the boss man is going to take action. He's walking away and giving us a shot at his business. We've been running it this whole time anyway. 4 employees up front, 4 in the kitchen. We're knocking out tables and building a stage and a ladder up to our employee pool room for parties. I think a lot of people would be really happy about a chance like this, the rest of the people that work there.
but i've been dreading it a long time. I dont want to go above and beyond for a bar. I want to stay a good student and go to work to work and leave. I want my life, something I can take with me when I decide to leave.
at least the holidays were wonderful
