RIP HEATH LEDGER?!
Ok so not to be a pop culture weirdo or to make the same entry that probably hundreds of LJers are but yeah...
OMGWTFBBQ?! Heath Ledger is dead. He was 28 years old. This is so sad. I'm not even kidding. He's done some terrible stuff that falls into the category of Things I Left Behind When I Left High School, like A Knight's Tale, but I feel like he was really starting to come into his own as more than just a pretty face and a good actor in his own right.
I was looking forward to seeing him as the Joker, too.
Roomie is taking all our Heath movies over to her friends' apartment tonight. Tomorrow after workshop I am going to have to pick at least one good one and watch it.
*sigh* Heath...
...Heath whose picture was in my locker in 9th grade. Heath who made chick flicks bearable. Heath whose said chick flicks I giggled with my friends about in high school, even as I was mentally whining about terrible writing and poor acting... Heath, Heath whose laconic depth and sorrow shattered my heart into tiny little pieces and made Brokeback Mountain more than just the Gay Cowboy Movie.
