Chapter 10
“As all of you know, national dance competition will be held in a month from now. For this year, they changed the tradition. No solo dance because they changed the format to a duet dance” announced Mr Shin to his dance student.
“What’s that mean”? one of his students asked.
“There will be two people who’re going to lead our school for the dance competition. I’ll choose the best among you” Mr Shin smiled. He knew his students have the potential to be the great dancers. “So, we’ll have an audition to choose who’ll represent our school and the audition will be held this Sunday”
Some of the student groaned while some of them were happy. Well, who wouldn’t groan if you’ve to come to school on your freaking rest day? Different with Eunhyuk and Donghae, they were happy although they have to sacrifice their weekend. Both of them love dancing very much.
Eunhyuk participated in the dance competition last year. But unfortunately, he didn’t win the first place. He just got second place. That’s why he determined to win this year.
Donghae also excited and he swore he would practice really hard to be chosen as one of the participants. He loves dancing but he didn’t have many opportunities to show his credibility since his old school didn’t have any sort of dance class.
“Class dismiss and remember to come this Sunday” Mr Shin said before gathering his things and went out of the class.
Eunhyuk and Donghae packed their things and they were ready to go back. As Donghae finished packing his things, he went out and he could see Hyukjae was already waiting for Eunhyuk outside the class.
“Hae” Hyukjae said when he saw his boyfriend.
“Waiting for Eunhyuk?” he asked although he already knew the answered.
Hyukjae just nodded as an answered. “Do you have any plan this weekend?”
“No but I’ve to come to school this Sunday. Eunhyuk too” replied Donghae.
“For what?” asked Hyukjae.
Donghae was about to answer Hyukjae when Eunhyuk came out from the classroom. “Hyukjae, let’s go”
Hyukjae just shrugged his shoulder before waving his hand to Donghae. “See you next week, Hae” said Hyukjae.
“Neh, see you next week” replied Donghae as he saw both twin disappeared from his views. He sighed before went to the school gate to meet his driver.
‘When will he accept me?’

“So, you’ve an audition this Sunday?” asked Hyukjae when they were busy enjoying their dinner.
Eunhyuk just nodded as an answer since he was chewing his meals.
“Donghae will be there too right?”
“Yeah and why do you care so much about him?”
“He’s our frie-”
Eunhyuk cut Hyukjae’s words. “Wait! I’ve to remind you. He’s your friend and not mine”
Hyukjae just shook his head as he stared at his twin. “You’ll never change, Eunhyuk yah”
“I never change but you do” muttered Eunhyuk, low but enough for Hyukjae to hear it.
Hyukjae was stunned. ‘Did I really change?’ he asked himself. When he was still in his own thought, Eunhyuk stood up and went to the sink to wash the dishes.
“I’m done eating and I’m going upstairs”
Hyukjae’s eyes just followed Eunhyuk’s movements. ‘I shouldn’t bring that thing up. Now, I’ve make Eunhyuk mad again! Ah! Pabo Hyukjae. He’ll accept Hae. I’m so sure. One day, he will’
“Hyukjae” Jungsoo said as he tapped his younger dongsaeng’s shoulder.
“Neh hyung?”
Jungsoo heaved a heavy sigh before he pulled the chair beside Hyukjae and sat down next to his dongsaeng. Jungsoo looked straight in to Hyukjae’s eyes. “Hyukjae, as a brother I’m really concern about you. I love you and Eunhyuk very much. I know there’re some things that we’ve to keep as a secret. But Hyukjae yah, don’t put the burden on your shoulder. You can always share with me”
Hyukjae lowered down his head. He wished he could tell his hyung about his relationship with Donghae but he was afraid. He didn’t know why he should be afraid. He knew he could trust his hyung but he never have the courage to tell Jungsoo what happened to him. He didn’t know how to share his secret with him.
“You’re in love right?”
Hyukjae’s eyes widened. He was shocked and surprised. How his hyung knew about this?
“You can’t hide anything from me, Hyukjae”
“I’m sorry hyung”
Jungsoo smiled as he lifted up Hyukjae’s face. “You don’t have to say sorry. Loving someone isn’t a wrong thing to do. It’s about heart. It’s about how you feel”
Hyukjae was touched with his hyung words and without him realize, tears started to pour down to his cheeks. He was glad that his hyung is an understanding person. “I just d-didn’t know h-how to t-tell you” he said between sobbing.
“Don’t cry. You’re not a kid anymore” Jungsoo teased.
“I’m only sixteen” Hyukjae pouted.
“Woah, you’re admitting that you’re still a kid?”
“Hyung” Hyukjae’s pouts became more visible.
Jungsoo could only chuckled at his dongsaeng’s behaviour. “Donghae is such a sweet boy”
Hyukjae’s eyes widened more. How his hyung knew about Donghae? He didn’t mention Donghae’s name yet. “H-hyung, h-how did y-you know?” asked Hyukjae nervously.
“I already investigated about him” replied Jungsoo casually.
“What!? But why?”
“Tell me, which hyung wouldn’t investigate about a boy who suddenly got a kissed from his dongsaeng in front of the house?”
Hyukjae blushed. “H-hyung did you s-see i-it? I t-thought you were at Kangin hyung’s house”
Jungsoo rolled his eyes. “I was at his house but I came back at 10 a.m. and yes, I saw everything. You almost gave me a heart attack that day”
Hyukjae’s face reddened. He didn’t know and never expect that his hyung saw he kissed Donghae. ‘That was embarrassing. Jungsoo hyung saw it! Oh my God! What am I going to do? I shouldn’t kiss Donghae that day! Stupid, stupid Hyukjae! Now I wish I could be invisible, so that, Jungsoo hyung would never see my face’
Jungsoo laughed hysterically at Hyukjae’s panicked state. “You’re so adorable, Hyukjae yah!” shouted Jungsoo as he hugged his dongsaeng tightly. Well, he couldn’t refuse Hyukjae’s cuteness.
“H-hyung, I c-cant... B-breath” Hyukjae tried to get rid of Jungsoo powerful hug.
“I’m sorry” he chuckled. “I can’t help myself. You’re so cute” he added.
“Hyung~” he whined and pouted. “Stop teasing me”
“Ok, ok. I’ll stop teasing you” Jungsoo said and messed up Hyukjae’s hair. “You better go comfort Eunhyuk. I think he’s in a bad mood again”
Hyukjae nodded before went to the sink to wash the dishes. He headed to the share room between him and Eunhyuk. As he entered the bedroom, he could see Eunhyuk was lying on the bed, stared blankly to the ceiling.
Eunhyuk didn’t seem to notice Hyukjae present until Hyukjae sat beside him. They stayed silent and nobody dared to talk. Eunhyuk was still staring at the empty ceiling while Hyukjae was looking down to his feet.
“Eunhyuk” Hyukjae tried to break the silent but he didn’t get any replied from his twin. He sighed before lied down beside Eunhyuk. “I’m sorry, Eunhyukkie hyung~” Hyukjae pouted.
“What the... Who are you calling hyung?” Eunhyuk asked and finally he turned to look at Hyukjae.
“Eunhyukkie hyung” Hyukjae smiled and flashed his most adorable puppy-anchovy eyes.
Eunhyuk gritted his teeth before he pinned down Hyukjae above him. He started tickling his twin with all his energy.
“E-eunhyuk! Hahahaha! Stop... S-stop please” Hyukjae pleaded between his laugh.
Eunhyuk only stopped when he saw Hyukjae was about to faint because of laughing too much. They lied next to each other and stared at the ceiling above them.
“Sorry if I make you pissed off” Hyukjae apologized.
Eunhyuk turned to face Hyukjae and pinched his twin cheeks, not so hard. “I’m sorry too. It’s just, my mood suddenly changed and I don’t know what’s wrong with me”
“Your mood suddenly changes? Are you in period or what?” Hyukjae chuckled.
“Hyukjae, I swear if you make fun of me again, I’ll tickle you till tomorrow” Eunhyuk warned.
Hyukjae shut his mouth and shook his head. He didn’t want to die because of laughing. “Eunhyuk”
“Yes?”
“Can I sleep on your bed tonight?”
“Why? Your bed is just right there” Eunhyuk said as he pointed his finger towards Hyukjae’s bed.
“Please don’t ask anything and just let me sleep with you tonight” Hyukjae moved closer and buried his face on to Eunhyuk’s chest.
Just like what Hyukjae said, Eunhyuk didn’t ask anything. He hugged his twin tightly and patted his head. Eunhyuk knew when Hyukjae needed him. So, he would just let Hyukjae slept with him tonight.
“Thank you, Eunhyuk” Hyukjae muttered. “You’re always my greatest hyung” he added and stuck out his tongue.
“Hyukjae!”
“I love you, Eunhyuk” Hyukjae grinned.
“You’re unbelievable annoying twin but I love you too”
“Where’s my good night kiss?”
“Who’re you to get my good night kiss?”
Hyukjae pouted. “You’re so mean”
“You should know me, idiot”
“I’m not idiot, idiot”
“You’re calling me idiot!”
“Because you called me an idiot first!”
“That’s because you’re really an idiot”
“YOU TWO BETTER KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT AND SLEEP BEFORE I BARGE IN THERE!” Jungsoo shouted from the outside.
The twin gasped and immediately shut up their mouth. Their hyung is really scary when he’s angry. They didn’t want to mess up with him and they didn’t want to think what their scary hyung could do to them.
“We better sleep before hyung enters the room” Hyukjae suggested.
“For the first time of my life, I agree with you” replied Eunhyuk. “Good night”
“Good night” muttered Hyukjae as he snuggled closer to Eunhyuk.
It didn’t take too long before both of them drifted to their own fantasy land, dreaming about sweet and good things.
