The whole heartrate thing will be revisited in the next chapter. There was more to it than that; Kon just likes to sentiment of 'heartbeat". But I took alot of inspiration from an early issue of Geoff John's run on teen titans at the point where Tim stops being Robin and just doesn't show up to titans tower one weekend. Kon gets frustrated and goes to Gotham to get answers. He finds steph!robin, freaks out (you're not my robin! where's the real robin?) and Batman intervenes telling Kon that they can't say where Tim is, but Kon should trust his abilities to track Tim down. Kon picks out Tim's voice from all of Gotham.
On that note, I was planning to address.. Well, I'll let you see next chapter.
But yah, I'll sort it out.
Also! World-building! In my verse, inspired by some of the differences in Kara and Clark's powers in the comics (i.e. Kara is stronger), kryptoians as a race have a set number of abilities they can develop, but each individual's physiology will decide which abilities and to what level. I figured it seemed more realistic that way.
Squee! Thanks for reading and thanks for the lovely review! <3
