I was planning on writing a comment to the previous chapter, but was exhausted and figured I'd do it today. And then, lo and behold, another new chapter appears!

I'm so, so glad to see more of this excellent story! You are taking a really interesting premise, and exploring it in such an interesting and compelling way. I love the complexity of the character you play with, particularly when it comes to their stances on the Kryptonian situation. You draw them all out so that TIm's position on the matter can be seen equally as cautious and reasonable based on his experiences, as well as xenophobic and paranoid. Similarly, Kon's naivette to the realities of the situation is balanced well with his earnestness and desire to help. It's really well done, and makes the characters' interactions quite fascinating. The slow burn of their romance is equally compelling, and I like how the hesitant steps they take forward, even towards friendship, are wrought with emotional complexity.

Fantastic job! I'm looking forward to seeing where you take these characters next!

I am so happy and relieved you are liking the slow pace. I'm worried readers may get impatient, but the way I see it, there is too much in the way for them to just fall into each others arms. And they still have a ways to go.

Also, your understanding about my interpretation of these characters makes me feel amazing! I am happy happy happy they are coming across as I see them in my head.

Thank you for the lovely review!
