summer plans
So all the sudden, a couple weeks ago, the dad of the twins I was going to babysit for 6 weeks stopped emailing me about babysitting plans. So instead this summer I'm going to NY with my mom and brother chris and kevin to stay with grandparents on my mom's side. they live in west shokane 1/2 hour away from albany i think i was once told. But I wish I had the gig instead. But awell, i get to meet my grandparts. not really first meeting, i just haven't seen them in a little over a decade and they don't call to talk to anyone but my mom, so i feel like i really don't know them and I'm about to go stay with a couple of strangers. So yeah. I really can't wait though. It's in about three weeks. I believe we leave July 18th, and it just couldn't come faster. Really looking forward to it.
In other shannon news, both my underlip piercings are gone. I had to go see my piercest - who wasn't there but his apprentice was - because my lip healed over the back of the right one, so it needed to be cut out. And while he was goin about doing that, he noticed I had an infection in my left piercing. He was going to fit the piercing he had to cut out with a longer one but then after cutting it out he saw it was the longest and then he saw the infection in the other one and he said "I'm sorry but you really need to take those out and let them heal up. That would be my recommendation." And I was all, "Uhhhh I dunno" but then he said "Give it a month to heal and come back and I'll pierce again it for freee." Then I said okay. So I am without my viper lip piercings for a month :( My face feels naked.
That's pretty much all that's going on. Kevin's birthday is on july 5th. He'll be 25. So the family will all be going out to dinner.

Oh I just got really into this band, Bat for Lashes. Its with a female singer and her voice is great and the music's great. I love em. Listened to the whole cd for the first time out on my walk tonigh and I loved them. Go find Bat for Lashes - Daniel. Like at youtube or something. They have a video for it.
