My Brain is Melting...

I am finally in my new home for the year. Yesterday was...long. Didn't get a good night's sleep before waking up to leave the hotel. Either I was too excited to get to Tsu or my biorhythms are still going haywire. I think it was a bit of both. After puttering around for a couple hours (gave up sleep at 5:30) eating breakfast, checking out, going to ( Read more... )

I'm uber jealous right now. No lie.

Also, if Japanese movie theatres aren't too expensive, you totally need to go watch Inception when it comes out. It's like Christopher Nolan took my ideas, gave it rules and structure, and made it into movie form. And I recommend going to see it in English or it's just going to go way over your head... Or I guess wait until you come back because I'm totally buying it when it comes out... assuming I have a job and monies for it.

Dude, dude, I'm thinking about seeing Inception in German, just for the lulz. Would you recommend that I do?

Yoneno-san just showed me where a movie theatre is. It's called Warner Mycal Cinema and has Looney Tunes characters all over. I am amused. He said they play American movies sometimes, so I might go see if they're playing Inception. I think movies are really expensive here, though. Something like 2000 yen. There is, however, a Ladies' night where tickets are cheaper for women. I should go look into that.

How are things in SF? If nothing else, you can be splendidly happy that you are not suffocating on your own sweat as the humidity tries to drown you. Or steam you when the sun really gets going. -_-;;;;;;;

hiiiii kat! ... uh, if you want? Though I'm sure there's going to be a lot of, "WTF is happening?" because I wasn't sure I understood the whole movie even after watching it in English. Also, there's also plot holes... considering he took 10 years to construct this world/movie, I'm surprised he didn't catch it.

The action is pretty cool... and the whole thing is practically action. ^^

re: Vinnie
Japanese movies are expensive, as expected cos their entire country is kind of expensive. SF is cold. I'm wearing sweaters kind of cold. It's pretty awesome unless I go downtown where it's very very un-cold.
