Narnia Drabble: "It's just a Siblings Quarrel"
Written for 100foraslan prompt #7 - battle. God, never before I've written so many fics/drabbles in a short period of time (two weeks).

Summary: Sometimes, Mrs. Pevensie thinks her children are far too mature for their age...

If asked, Mrs. Pevensie would have said her eldest children were far too mature for their age -Peter was six years old and Susan was five- and that they might not enjoy their childhood properly because of it.
“Give it back!”
“No!”
Until now, she thought, watching amused as the eldest siblings fought over whom of the youngest should eat the sweet bread.
“Lucy wants it! It’s her favourite!!”
“It’s Edmund’s favourite too! He took it first!!”
So far, Susan seemed to be winning, since she had the bread in her tiny hands.
“But she’s a baby!!” Peter yelled, grabbing the bread.
“And so is he!!” Susan replied, holding on tighter.
They began to pull back and forth.
“Susan!!”
“Peter!!”
Not stopping.
“Let go!!”
“No, you let go!!”
Mrs. Pevensie took the bread from them and cut it in half, giving one piece to each of her youngest babies. The eldest children watched this, surprised.
Mrs. Pevensie nodded satisfied and stood to walk away, noticing the last piece of sweet bread on the table, happy that her children weren’t fighting anymore.
“MINE!!!”
Until now, she thought again, while watching her eldest babies fight over the last piece of sweet bread.
