ミ☆Chapter One☆ミ
The afternoon sun beat down onto Nino’s face as he lay in the soft, freshly cut grass a couple of miles from his house. Nintendo DS held out in front of him and his top-of-the-range broom glistening in the sunshine next to him. He was playing an online fishing game against his best friend, Ohno. Naturally, he was winning, hence why he much preferred playing fishing on his DS than actually going out onto a lake, fishing, where he never caught anything. Ohno seemed to have the total opposite opinion, but there was no way Nino would ever let Ohno have his way.
With the sun now ruby red and racing behind the hills of Yorkshire, Nino stood up, shaking pieces of grass from his hair. Ohno had disappeared offline, probably fallen asleep or something like that. Stretching Nino looked up at the pink sky. Usually, he couldn’t have cared less about school, but for some reason he was excited about going back after the summer holidays. Although his family were quite well off, his relationship with them wasn’t exactly very close. More often than not he felt he needed his own space, plus his parents were really beginning to get annoyed with him for every little prank he played, but it wasn’t his fault, when he was bored (which he was quite often) it was the best way to waste time.
As Nino bent down to pick up his broom and head back home, something glinted in the sky catching his eye. In the distance it looked like a Meteor, but it was heading faster and faster towards him and resembled more of a house. No, a car. A small, glittering sports car. It swung round, narrowly missing Nino’s head as he ducked beneath it. With a loud bang it landed, nose first, a few feet away from the shocked boy.
“Blasted piece of crap!” Koichi Domoto jumped out of the driver’s seat and kicked the side of the wheel.
“Jesus Christ Bro! I didn’t know you hated us that much.” Tsuyoshi Domoto climbed out of the passenger side, grinning with adrenaline.
“You two are crazy. What was I thinking? Out of my mind.” A stammering Yamapi pulled himself, jelly-legged out of the back of the now smoking car.
Nino stood stock-still, mouth open, gaping at the scene before he was suddenly brought back to life by a rather over-high-tension cry of, “NINO-CHAAAAN!” and bundled over onto the ground by a tall, long-legged boy, who could only be Aiba Masaki.
“What the…” Nino sat up, pushing Aiba off him and looked from one Domoto to the other for an explanation.
“Well, ya see, long story Kazu-kun. This random house elf like turned up” Koichi leaned into the car and pulled out a small, round-faced, smiley boy with large pointy ears.
“Yeah, in our room!”
“Said something about a Ma-chan being locked in a cell.”
“Off course, we had absolutely no clue what the hell a Ma-chan is”
“Turns out he meant Aiba-chan here.” Koichi pointed at Aiba who was sat cross-legged beside Nino.
“Yeah, Pi guessed that’s who he meant.” To this Yamapi nodded.
“Anyways. Being the hero’s we are”
“We decided to rescue him.”
“With my car!” Koichi ran a loving hand along the side of the broken vehicle.
“Ripped the bars right off the window.”
“Genius idea of yours Tsuyo, I must say.”
“And bam! Free he was”
“His uncle looked damn enraged though.”
“Like for real.”
“Usually I’m quite good at aiming for home. Must have misjudged it slightly.” Koichi contemplated, looking over to where the small Wizarding village lay in which both theirs and Nino’s homes were situated.
Nino shook his head in disbelief. “You guys are so weird!”
“Ah~ but if we were boring and normal, would you be friends with us?” Tsuyoshi bundled everyone, including Nino’s broomstick (which he eyed jealously) into the tiny, barely working car.
"Hi mister. My name's Chinen. Chinen Yuri. Nice to meet you." The smiley house elf who was tightly packed in between Yamapi and Nino held his tiny hand out to Nino.
"Great. Just great. Squeezed in between a botoxed house elf and a high-tensioned Gryffindork. Just my luck." Nino ignored Chinen's hand and rolled his eyes. However, his comment was ignored as somehow, by magic (literally) Koichi got the car engine working and they chugged their way slowly down the hillside and in the direction of home.
