Kick into Overdrive

Writing this on the iPhone on the way back from Hachioji. Just because I can. The portable wireless modem makes me feel invincible. Well at least until I enter the underground train tunnels.

Was at Hachioji to catch TOTALFAT's one man semi-final. Found out after buying the ticket that it is a one hour train ride from Hiyoshi. This is a good example of 'Don't assume. It makes an ass out of u and me'. But even though it is at the edge of Tokyo, I still saw some familiar faces that I've seen at their other Kanto shows (last year's Akasaka BLITZ, last month's Yokohama BAYSIS, etc.). We're clearly as crazy as each other :x

This is the second time I've voluntarily moved to the back of the livehouse. Even at the back, I was close to fainting. Thank goodness I decided to get out of the moshpit. Any later and it would not be me walking out on my own but the staff dragging my unconscious body out :s

Managed to stumble my way out of the livehouse after the show. First time I made a conscious decision to leave directly after the show. Saw two of the boys from But by Fall passing out flyers to their show tomorrow. Decided to be friendly and mentioned offhandedly as I walked past that I'm going for their show tomorrow. The drummer went "oh..." and looked somewhat D: like this was an unexpected development from what they had expected to do there (give out flyers). Kinda "THIS WAS NOT PART OF THE JOB DESCRIPTION!". Friendly attempt fail. But I was too zonked to care so I threw a random "頑張ってください" and walked off. Lol.

Had a Gatorade and felt much better. Grabbed a corner of my shirt and wrung it. Sweat poured out. It was also interesting that I had apparently sweat enough to cause my fingers to get super wrinkly, and the skin on my hands and face were sticky dry.

Am in the train sitting on my towel in hopes of not leaving a huge wet butt print when I stand up. Though I'm not sure how much that will help since my towel has been used heavily throughout the show to wipe my sweat. Moment of truth in about 20 minutes.
