But bad jokes aside, I've managed to create some form of collision detection at long last! It's the simplest form of collision detection, and for all the distress I've been put through for the past week, the codes are really short and simple -_- Such is programming, I suppose. Though that would probably change when I try to implement more detailed collision checking.
But life's looking a little rosier at the moment... until I'm able to lay my paws on 3D Studio Max, that is.
