It's time for...
Today's Monster Hunter update!
Decided to finally try out the Yian Kut-Ku quest today and it was a surprisingly short battle. Thanks to advice from a seasoned hunter yesterday, I finally got better armour. I guess I really was at a disadvantage on my previous quests, considering that my defence is now 91 instead of the previous 18 D: Decided to learn a new weapon as well, because sword and shield really doesn't dish out as much damage as the rest. Using the Iron Katana 'Grace' now, which is under the long sword category.
Anyway, I can't seem to capture or break the Yian Kut-Ku's ears. Half the time, I either end up hitting his beak or chopping away at his neck. The most I've gotten it down to is the ragged stage, but I guess since I'm not carving off any Kut-Ku ears, I probably didn't manage to break the ears completely. At least I've gotten two beaks though.
So anyway because of the confidence booster from the Yian Kut-Ku, I completed the Cephadrome one as well (what a waste of sonic bombs D: I actually thought the Cephadrome looked cute in the animation haha), and now have to do the urgent quest which is Khezu. I think I have to learn the combos. I don't see to be able to execute them properly.
But anyway in random non-MH-related news, I actually went up to my terrapins and said "Like a bolt from the blue, it's time for a reaper review!" just because I felt like saying it.
They stared at me.
