So... you've managed somehow to stumble across my journal. I'd be more than willing to add you, but please leave a comment. It's interesting to see how people found my journal + such!

I've been an LJ user for 3 years now. So earlier entries and things are VERY VERY different that what I post now. Well, I think they are,

Hi! My name is Lauren! Or if you prefer the Hawaiian way, Lauena! I hope you’re doing well. I LOVE Disney as well, so I’d thought I’d add you. I hope that’s okay.

I’m visually impaired and have been that way since birth. But the problem didn’t start affecting me until I was five years old. But I don’t let my disability get me down most of the time. I view it as a blessing. I turn it into an ability by using it to inspire others. The way I look at it is, I have ROP, it doesn’t have me. I still do every day things. I just do some of those things differently. I see with my heart and that’s the best source of sight God could have given me. I thank my Heavenly Father for that gift every day.

I’m a huge Disney fan! My favorite princesses are: Ariel, Jasmine, Belle and Cinderella. Like Ariel, I’m really adventurous and I’ll help anyone I can. I try to see the good in everyone. I’m also really good with children and I enjoy takin’ care of them. Like Jasmine, I hate being told what to do and I rather make my own decisions. As for Belle, we both LOVE reading!

My favorite movies are: The Little Mermaid, TLM2: Return to the Sea, LK2: Simba’s Pride, Aladdin, Aladdin and the King of Thieves, The Return of Jafar, Lilo and Stitch, Stitch: The Movie, The Aristocats, 101 Dalmatians (Animated version), The Jungle Book 2, Jungle Book, Peter Pan, Pocahontas, Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time, Cinderella, Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True, The Rescuers, Fivell: An American Tale, Fivell Goes West, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World.

I also LOVE-ABSOLUTELY LOVE- Touched by an Angel as well! My fave angels are Gloria, Monica, Tess and Rafael. To see what episodes are my favorite, just go to my profile.
