Was it really the season finale? Can't believe it. Did you like it???

I have a simple question:
Why the hell couldn't Peter fly away to the universe alone without Nathan? If I'm right he absorbed his brother's power previously in the first or second episode.
Then I was really waiting for a real Sylar vs Peter fight during the whole episode and what did we get?? NOTHING, TOTALLY NOTHING. It sucked.
Besides almost everyone has stayed alive, damn. I read it on many websites before that only a few characters will survive this season coz Tim Kring wants new ppl. Well, I didn't notice that.
Oh my.... thank God (writer) you have kept alive SLYAR !!!!

I hope the next season will be much better than the last eps of the season 1. To be frank, I don't know how they will make it interesting as I watched the volume 2 (which is the first seconds of the season 2 in the end of the episode) I can't imagine I will enjoy it.... blaaaahhhh.
I thought there will be a more exciting and fascinating ending. What a big pity!
