well the crickets are having a party tonight.
i just picture them in fancy top hats and stuff cheering tiny cups of water from the ground or something. weird. i know.
the breeze is perfect. which is why i will be tempted to shower and fall asleep much sooner than i should. either im staying up all night to write an article, or i'll sleep and wake up early to do so. either way, it's due tomorrow. i'm thinking sleep. yet another way to procrastinate. congrats, heather on the cycle that happens every year during this time.
today was a relief. the waking up [with the worst fake mustache ive probably ever seen still drawn on the inside of my finger from the night before], the weather, the walking, the driving, the windows down, the coffee, the friends, the music, the laughing, the news of my logic exam being take home [KAJESNF;AWKNGF;LAZ]...
a new series of events unexpected of a monday indeed.
anyway. there's this show on tlc that's on right now called something like 'my life as a kid.'
amazing and ridiculous.
an asian girl who wrote a book at age 7 [age 8 now] and is going around talking to kids as old as highschool about their creativity. oh yeah- she has a bigger vocabulary than i do and she can type 70-90 words a minute on the computer. she thinks 'fluff' in school is something like cutting out pilgrims. basically anything that is also creative. this makes me angry. that was one of my favorite parts of elementary school. hardcore knowledge isn't the key to everything. [it can even turn you against yourself eventually.] she slid down a slide in her backyard once with nothing short of perfect posture and had enough. who does that at age 8?
a boy who is 11 [ballet-ing since age 6] and just got a scholarship to the best ballet school for kids in new york city.
he is my hero.
'yeah kids make fun of me on the bus and stuff. 'Hayyy wussie ballerina! do you wear a tu tuuuu!' and i say, 'no dude, i wear tights and a tshirt.'
in any case... i need sleep.
