Still alive.  Busy.

Got another part in the musical I'm in.  Doubled the amount of songs I have to learn.  It's a bit last-minute so I have to mad cram for it, but I pick up music super-fast.  Words, not so much, but eff it, it's only a reading at this point.  Still, the lyricist/lead is a freaking ray of sunshine in my life.  He talks, and I just bathe in his words.  Rainbows everywhere.  Fucking awesome.

Quixotic and MFA Reps came down.  True West went up.  Macbeth is cast and the designers are being finalized.  We're in a good place now.  I can stop making shaky drawings of the Powerhouse and start making shaky Logic sessions.  Did you know Bono and the Edge use Garageband?

srsly tho, mark your calendars, because the Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble's Macbeth will be so fucking baller, it will register on the richter scale.  Andy Richter's scale, to be precise.  Which was very poorly calibrated.  It somehow reads the presence of great shows.  He'd have had it fixed, but he no longer controls the universe.

Meow.

Anyway.

BrewCo keeps rolling, band practice tomorrow, light plot due, screenplay done (ish), looks like I'm gonna graduate, looks like I love Flight of the Conchords and the Decemberists, looks like I'm realizing I'm freaking awesome.

Had an AHA moment today (not Take On Me, although I did take myself on), realized I lack the ability to COMMIT to an attack.  Seven years of martial arts and I finally draw the parallel between how I fight and how I live.  Amazing.  Not sure how to get that confidence sharpened, but I think it comes from getting the ever-loving shit kicked out of you.  Hopefully they make a pill for it tho.

Oh yeah and I'm getting job offers for other shows, so the wheel keeps turnin'.
