Ugh. So, KMail has decided that sorting email by dates, specifically order by arrival, works as follows: Anything from a week ago has the actual date (i.e. 2005-08-13) in the date column. Anything else has "Monday", "Tuesday", "Yesterday", "Today", etc. One might expect, if we sort in reverse chronological order, that "Today" would be at the top, ( Read more... )

Evolution's similar with its dating scheme, but it sorts correctly.

Heh. Interesting features? It happens to come with KDE. That's all. Nothing else that I can see. That is.. I didn't choose KMail for any special features.. I chose it because it was there. Yar.

Congratulations, you're one of the reasons IE is so damned popular and Bill Gates is so damn rich.

For shame, for shame.

Dang. But I'm so gosh darn proud. Of course, I *don't* use IE. And since there was no evidence, at that point, that KMail was *worse* than, for example, Evolution, I don't see why I should have suddenly gone and used a different mail client other than what was provided.

Heh, been using Mozilla's mailreader for, um, almost 10 years soon! A few rewrites into it, got better, then worse, then better again. Maybe it's due for a worse phase, but I never dumped it nonetheless, so it can't be that bad, and it's available everywhere, no matter where I go (Windows, *nix, Mac), so that's good.
