Why is LJ adding the text "collapse" to the end of everyone's LJ-cuts?
I never talk about baseball anymore, but here's your obligatory "omgpostseason?!!?" post. Cards @ Braves in a few minutes, O's @ Rangers later tonight. Don't tell Bri, but I'd like to see Huddy and the Braves survive this one and done. As for O's @ Rangers...I just can't even process.
I did wear orange and black to work though, so the deck is pretty stacked against Baltimore. Sorry, boys. I couldn't help it.
I feel like a bad fan for saying this ("because you are!" rings back the peanut gallery), but I feel perfectly at peace with either potential outcome of tonight's game. This whole season has been such a crazy, unanticipated development, that every single thing the Orioles have done since they guaranteed themselves at least a .500 season has felt like playing with house money. I should desperately want them to win tonight, but I just feel like it would be nice if they do, but if they don't, oh well.
For once, it seems like you can honestly say: there's always next season.
