I rarely buy tickets from the box office, but still - how awesome is the new ticket purchasing interface on the mlb team websites? I love that you can now see exactly how much your ticket will cost WITH THE FEES, and you can pick your individual seat. Long overdue, but I'm still glad to see it.

mlb: odds and ends, mlb: good call for once

Oh, I didn't realize that. But I suppose it makes sense, since that's not a per ticket fee. I noticed Stubhub is beta'ing a similar set up, where they show you the ticket prices with all fees but the $5.20 delivery fee included (but at least they note that omission on the main screen so you're not surprised later).

I first noticed it while surfing the Yankees' website to do some price matching against ebay, and I was like "Wow, check out the big money team's website!" Then I realized you can do it for other teams as well :P Do you know how long the new system's been around?

LOL it does seem like something that only the big money teams would have. I want to say that the new system has been around since late April - it wasn't on the Astros website at the very beginning of the season, I know that much. Also oops it's too early, I guess - sorry for the comment edits, haha.
