1. Signed up for a therapeutic writing seminar at Johns Hopkins a couple months ago, so I went to that today, and the Homewood campus is conveniently located just a couple miles from The Book Thing, so I stopped by after and do you know what I found, gang?
A copy of A Game Of Thrones (Song of Fire and Ice, Book #1)! **promptly cancels library hold requests in Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties where I still have not even cracked the top 5**
2. Someone is asleep at the MLB Blackout switch for Direct TV. There's a Rockies classic on now from 2000, the one where Brett Mayne got brought in to pitch in extras because the Rox ran out of arms and ends up becoming the first position player in over 30 years to get credited with a win. Thanks to Adam Melhuse of all people. I love old games! Going to the bottom of the 12th now.
3. I still have access to all 40+ of my icons, even though my paid account promotion expired over a week ago.
