The Spiced Pumpkin latte at 7-Eleven? Ahhmazing.

It's nice to hear Matt Cain getting a lot of props. But I'm gonna go out on a limb, and predict that Joey Blanton will deliver for the Phils today. Let this be a day of surprises, all around. (Hint, hint, NY Failkees.)

there's a rumbly in my tumbly, mlb: postseason 2010

That was my feeling too. Bumgarner's good on the road, but he has only one win at home. Joe Blanton was always solid with the A's, and the Phillies' offense is better than the Giants'. I wonder if the game will be over in 2.5 hours; Blanton's games tended to be short.

I am so so pleased about Matt Cain. He's the guy on the Giants I'm happiest to see succeed. :D

Oh, I didn't know that! Hmm. That actually makes me think he might buck the trend today and be very good. Oh well, as long as it's a good game; honestly, I don't really care who wins :X

lol, one of Blanton's 2 hour and 15 minute specials, coming right up. (Remember that time he pitched on a fireworks night, and the crowd had to wait like 45 minutes after the game for fireworks because nothing was set up yet?)

I couldn't agree more with this sentiment :)

I should qualify that by saying he's only started at home 8 times and 4 of those were no-decisions. But yeah, his first home win was at the end of the season. :P Bucking the trend the same way Matt Cain got his first win against the Phillies ever? I can see that too. I think my strongest reason for wanting a Giants win today is that it sets up a clinching game with Timmy on the mound. :)

Ahahaha, yeah lastcatastrophe told me about that, except that she said the reason for the delay was that it was still light out. :P

I have yet to watch the game (I "followed" on Gameday Mini at work yesterday) but I think I'm most looking forward to hearing the fans cheer for him when he steps off the mound in the 7th. :D

Well, I certainly wouldn't hold that against you.

Annnnd of course, she's right about that! My memory ain't what it used to be.

As of 9:43 ET, your prediction is holding. But I think that is due more to the Giants paying for having Huey Lewis sing the National Anthem. :-/ I think that I would take any of the Gleeks over that. :-P
