i am not done worrying about 2010 yet
The tentative 2011 mlb schedule is out. Upon reflection, I liked it better when the schedule for the next season got announced like a month after the World Series. It was something to hang tight to between year end awards and pitchers and catchers. We don't even know where James Richard is going to be next year, so a fat lot of good announcing the schedule now does me, as far as road tripping purposes are concerned.
At first blush, though, I have to say this schedule looks much better than the schedule of the last few years. For one, STL, SF, and COL all make trips to the tri-state area within the first two months of the season, instead of making us wait until July or August, and as importantly, the STL, SF, COL trips are all weekend series. For two, we won't be playing into November. That's cool with me.
