Ah, okay - I feel like Fox and the O's broadcasters use it much more liberally to describe any game where the result makes the difference between one team winning the series or not, regardless of the length of the series, but I am on board with limiting it to a three gamer. Especially since the Fox and O's broadcasters are hardly the bastion of meaningful baseball talk.
I have nothing of great import to say (surprise!), but the Tim Lincecum action figure that's sold at work is weird. He looks like an off brand GI Joe. Code Name: Slow Pitch.
Oh, is it a McFarlane? Those are so hit or miss. Sometimes they look like the player, and sometimes they look like McFarlane needs to get himself a reject pile.
You know, I've always been under the impression that the rubber match is the game when the two aces are on the mound.
It's nice to know I am completely wrong about that. Hahaha. Five seasons! Completely wrong.
SO EXCITED FOR TIM. And Huddy is pitching today, too. On Fox they asked him about hitting his first home run off Lohse and he wasn't very talkative about it. :(
