+ I heard this song in the car the other day, and it's been stuck in my head. This means, of course, that I must share it with you all. You're welcome.Ran into your friends as they went to meet you
I was the land mine they had tripped across
I could see it in their eyes
They could tell that I'm a, I'm a, I'm a kamikaze

+ Josh Johnson, he of the halo of Mormon curls, has signed a 4 year, $39 million contract with the Marlins. I really like JJ; I'm so glad for his success. Although I would have thought he had a no trade clause the way he was talking on MLB Home Plate - he was going on and on about how this is really significant for his family because now he knows where he'll be for the next four years, and maybe they can buy a house in Florida, and so on and so forth. But Leanne tells me he hasn't got a no trade, so I'm not sure why he thinks the Marlins wouldn't be able to or wouldn't plan on flipping him to another team at some point: a quality young arm who is signed for 4 years, at just under $10 million a year? Pretty sure you'll be on the trading block every year, dear.
+ Brewers' execs met with Mark Mulder last night and I have not seen word one about the result of said hen party. WHAT THE HELL.
+ New 24 in two days, people. I'm starting to get a little tingly.
