The cellphone I'd been using for the last two and a half years started giving me the white screen of death, so I caved and finally upgraded. I got a Nokia e71 because Bri loves hers so much. And while it hasn't been love at first week's usage for me, I will say that being able to use snippets of (This Is) The Dream of Evan and Chan and Callin' Baton Rouge as ringtones really makes me not hate it quite so much when people call me.
Now, if I could just figure out why the thing refuses to let me use part of Nsync's It's Gonna Be Me as my text message alert, we could be good friends, the e71 and I. I'm gonna give it another day of fussing at it, and then I'm going to my back-up: the communicator chirp from the Trek series.
