I have taken over the pool. Oh, God, what have I gotten myself into? The Aquatics Director (full time position) was fired this past week. Of course I volunteered for the job. This is a good thing. I'm doing two full time positions. Because lord knows that Aynsley can never only have one job.
I have two weeks to make a pool schedule, staff the pool with lifeguards and swim instructors, find out how to administer a swim test and when such a test can take place and make all our members happy. Normally this would not be an issue, but we're in the thick of housebreaking Baxter (wow, is this a challenge! Some days are better than others, but the bottom line is that neither Adam nor I have slept more than 6 hours for the past four nights and Adam has already pulled a complete all-nighter) and my parents are coming to visit for a week. My stomach hurts.
