nothing like working 12 hours first day back after a long weekend...
but it was swell. got very tipsy thursday night at work, wide open, and ...o'grady's in boystown...i think. was able to function friday thanks to greasy breaky at Fran's on the walk home. friday was uber-busy, as someone booked a party of 18 (!) in a restaurant of 35 seats...5 hours before they were coming, but i digress, (sp?) ran home 2 hours later than usual for emily's party. got all 80s hootchied up for velvet and lasted an hour before sleep took over. (after a few jamacain patties). Sat-carlo's farewell brunch/patio beers/free for all loot grab at the loft. A guy tried to help me carry my cooler filled w/glassware, until I told him it contained human organs. Sun-bought me a funky hat. very 40's detective-ish. Had a girls night at Becky's before hitting Lucid (which was packed to the rafters w/crazy drunken chinese peeps) Monday was rough, weekend caught up w/me. Sneaky Dee's breaky before going to the Distillery Jazz fest w/Adam, after gettting picked up on the street by Derek who was driving by...or stalking me...either way, it was a free ride. Heard little jazz at the fest, but saw lots of overpriced artsy stuff +coffee, and dozens of pugs. Had cherry belgium beer on the walk back, before lots of shrimp and most of andrea's bisquits. Yeah long weekend. Yeah being in BC in a month. Yeah Willy Wonka coming out soon. Good night.
