Well, screw that

The cheapest new copy of Pokemon Silver on Amazon is 50$ (US), same goes for Ebay, and pretty much same for Gold.(On both)

I guess it's crossed the line between obsolete, and "So hard to find it's worth shitloads of money".

Used, it goes for as cheap as 14$. (Again, US). But of course, mine are "used", and there's my problem. And there's "used" as in someone opened it, played it for a year, and then stopped, and "used" as in carried around in some sweaty fat kid's pocket for the past ten years. So, I'll wait and see if the damn thing will work again on it's own, or if the GameFAQs forum has any other ideas as to what the problem is.

Or maybe I'll just get over it, and accept the fact that between college and real life starting next year, my gameboy will probably gather dust in a closet anyway. And for the times it doesn't, I do still have yellow. (*sigh*)

Apparently ACAP is brutal, too. I'm actually glad I don't have a life, or I'd probably miss it. (And it still sucks that I have no financial way of moving out. I want my own place, semi-privacy, independance...y'know?)
