As some of you may know, and some may not, i recently (a few month now) purchased myself a new toy. Something i had lusted after for a very long time and spent many wasted hours searching online to find the best of.

Hrrmmm. That sounds like the battery is at fault, maybe the battery controller or more likely the battery itself.

While your device is far from the expected life-time of a Lithium battery, they do lose voltage very quickly when they are just about out of charge. Try running the battery down completely before your next full charge, that will allow the battery circuitry to update its record of how much charge capacity it has. While this won't recover the capacity lost, it should give you a better indication as to how much charge you have and therefore not be surprised by it falling to 0% in a short period of time.

If it continues to malfunction, then at worst, try organising for the batteries to be replaced one by one.
