It started by not feeling nearly as sick and head achy as the amount of wine i had drunk (YAY free wine) should have made me.
It continued with a nice walk in the not to hot sun to get all the ingredients for home made eggs benedict - and the eating there of
Followed by shopping. Normally shopping doesn't interest me that much due to cash bonuses from work i decided we could use *some* of it for fun and i shouldn't be so sensible all the time
So came the shopping
Despite the fact i didn't come home with what i left for (a new computer chair - still to come)
I now have
2 x awesome dragon puzzles
1 x Puzzle Mat so i can roll it up
1 x Helmet (its a cool blue colour)
1 x Elbow / Knee / wrist pads
2 x Roller blades
We also collected Two adorable girl Ratties who we have names Juju and Monster
So this afternoon, ignoring the fact that i am an absolute klutz who has no sense of balance and fears falling over i had my first ever roller blading lesson. My mantra ' feet out lean forward - feet out lean forward'
Ive spend most of my life being told not to hunch and to lean back more, and have a habit of standing with my feet pointed inwards so this was new to me. But by the end i was managing to not fear the falling to much and moving about 5 - 6 foot along the railing before one or the other of my feet would stop obeying me and go flying the other direction.
Wayne is the most patient teacher i could wish for. Even tho he laughed at me. But i made him promise he wouldn't let go of me if i left the rail and he didn't. Much love.
Pizza for dinner. mmmmmm pizza
And while he caught up on some well deserved computer time i have started one of the puzzles.
Im pooped and about ready for bed but the ratties have come out to play so introducing them to there surroundings.
So i round up my night with open boxes all over the lounge room, a started puzzle on my table, a full belly, pride in starting to overcome an old fear and learn a new skill as well as new pets who are adorable to watch and play with. Basically it feels like xmas
Today has been an awesome day
