(no subject)
So as I stated Sunday night, I'm home. Had a few delays, but I made it home eventually. I had an awesome time in PA with Grace. ^_^ I wish the week had gone by slower, but I know we'll see each other again.
So it all started on Sunday the 27th. lol. I seriously have bad luck with flights being ontime and whatnot. So I got to the airport that morning and checked in and it wasn't until I got to the gate that I realized there wasn't a seat number on my ticket. Turns out the flight was overbooked so I sat there for about an hour, on the verge of a panic attack waiting to see if I'd get on the flight. Needless to say, I did. After they finished boarding the plane, the guy behind the counter was printing out a new boarding pass, placed it on the counter and before he was finished saying 'Napolitano' I was out of my seat and through that gate. lol.
So we hung out on Sunday and watched some season four of QaF. Monday we went to Kennywood, which was awesome!! Grace got me to go on this one ride that like....flips you upsidedown, I guess is the word...omg, it was crazy! It was so much fun. I'd love to go back someday.
Tuesday was Warped Tour where we met up with Lindsay and their other friends. We ended up getting in free because we volunteered for their Eco thing. We got in free, got to go into the area where the buses were parked, got to go backstage and generally just go anywhere we wanted and all we had to do was pick up bottles and cans. We ended up getting on stage during The Academy Is... and I met Will and Butcher afterwards. Seriously, Will is freakishly skinny in person. Oddly enough he didn't seem overly tall.
Mon and Tues combined, I got really sunburnt.
Wednesday we just hung around and watched more QaF. I finally finished watching it. About time, right? I only had seasons 4 and 5 for over a year. I'm slightly disappointed with the ending. I understand why some fans didn't like it now.
Thursday we went to the Art Institute in Pittsburgh. It's really kewl there. I wouldn't mind going to school there when I eventually go back. We went and saw The Dark Knight Thursday night. OMG, was that amazing!!! I don't even know where to start with it. Heath was simply amazing in that role. He just....amazing. That's all I have to say.
Friday and Saturday we hung around and helped at a yard sale that Grace helps with every year.
Saturday I was supposed to go home, but my flight ended up getting cancelled. Grace dropped me off and went to park the car. I went in to go check in and when I got to Jetblue they said that the flight was cancelled cause of weather. There were thunder storms over here. So there was a flight on Sunday, same flight actually just the next day.
So Sunday we checked before we left her house to make sure everything was good and everything was fine and on time up until an hour before the plane was supposed to leave, which was 6:55. Turns out the plane was coming from Boston and had sat on the tarmac, or whatever it's called, for so long in Boston cause of traffic that it had to go back to the gate to refuel. It didn't get to Pittsburgh until sometime after eight and didn't take off from there till about nine. So I got home just before eleven. Needless to say, I was exhausted on Monday.
So all in all, despite the flight delay, I had an amazing time!!! I'm so happy that I finally got to meet Grace. ^_^ I really hope she can come visit me in the near future. Pictures can be found on facebook and myspace.
Yesterday I bought Panic tickets and joined the fanclub. It's at the Tsongas Arena, which sucks ass, but I can overlook that to see Panic.
Ten days until BSB!! I can't believe it's next Saturday! Yay BSB!!!
Well now I have to clean my room. My aunt and cousins are visiting next week and are coming in on Friday so my mom wants the room clean.
