I also signed up for hp_darkfest yesterday, but it's all right because I also wrote the fic yesterday XD. So that's due October 16th I think, but I've already written it. Might see if I can pick a second prompt though :P

LJ goes back up and my page design dissapeared, but no one else's seemed to.... simple case of re-entering all the design info, but still... why do that in the first place? :/ -

2. I'm getting ideas for fics for almost all of the songs on Amanda Palmer's album "Who Killed Amanda Palmer" (my current new favourite album :P). Wondering if there's a lj comminity dedicated anywhere to trying to write a fic for every song on an album. Hopefully I'll have new stories to post soon! I THINK I've started to ( ... ) -

The Guardian completely butchered my submission. I just saw it's been posted online already. They cut the word count in half, and re-wrote it to fit. It's HORRIBLE. And it has my name associated, so everyone's going to think that crap is mine. I don't care if I'm getting paid - I can write so much better than what they've done to it, and I don't ( ... ) -

I got another thing accepted into the Guardian! :D Family section public submissions only, but, I wrote it for a bit of fun in about 5 minutes a few weeks ago, and they're paying me £25.
AND, because I'm the first person in our family to get paid published this year, Dad owes me £50. WOOO! I GOTS MONEYS NOW :D

Random thought
My hair's not been as short as in the pic for yeeears. I was so much thinner and prettier then :/. Lots of food and no exercise is not the way to go people! Now I'm just hoping my will power holds out tomorrow and I actually get up and go the gym - last exam is in 2.5 hours, it'll all be over then and I can get on with "getting healthier". I've ( ... ) -
