Last night was OK. I didn't do any work whatsoever, so I will have to make up for that by doing a bunch of stuff tonight. I should fit in a few things while still at the office, but I'm already stressed about the doctor's appointment this afternoon.
Clark's at the new school. I was a little concerned, especially because he doesn't really listen very well to people he doesn't know. Why this is a drawback, I'm not really sure, except he does need to listen to school personnel. The teacher is already laying the smack down, way more than his past teacher did. This is good.
The introductions went mostly smoothly, even though he was totally overstimulated. I was worrying about his behavior while listening to the parent orientation stuff, and then one kid managed to escape from his classroom, screaming like a banshee while a teacher grabbed him and hauled him back into the classroom. Suddenly, I felt better.
Tomorrow is a very big meeting at work here, and I am to procure food and beverage for the office. Meh.
I wandered over to Goodwill and got an absolutely amazing shirt. It is vintage fabulous, with hot pink polka dots arranged in patterns on a chocolate brown background. It has gigantic bell sleeves, and it is fitted through the body so it does not look frumpy. I look like a '60s princess in it, especially with my retro glasses. Woo.
And gah, I have another script to read...must not forget! Must not forget!
