Yesterday Patrick's newly-acquired-via-ebay Macbook Pro arrived, after he won the bid on it on Monday night. It was coming from San Jose, so the two-day turnaround time, though pleasant, was hardly unexpected.

I don't use EBAY anymore... I ordered the entire Card Captor Sakura manga from a person.. they said it was in "pristine" condition... Only I get it and there were many bends in the covers, pages loose, etc etc... Some pages even had some stains -.-...

I hated that ? monitor icon thing. In my childhood I encountered it several times and had no idea what it meant, and neither did most of the instructors. They always had to call in some tech dude to fix it. It wasn't until years later when I found out what it actually meant.

I hate computer error messages in general. They tend to do a piss poor job at actually telling you what the problem is >_>
