OUCH

My first post in a long time. But I am bored and need to keep my focus off the pain. Why am I in pain? Let me tell you.

Now first off I have been walking in moving vehicles for at least 20 years. So I am quite experienced and know what to do.
Jeff was driving and I went up to him to get the "map" and tell him where I was hoping to stop. I grabbed the map, stood up and turned around. When I did, I let go of my handhold to grab the countertop to walk back to my seat. The moment I let go a truck cut Jeff off and he slammed on the breaks to avoid hitting him. Well I had nothing to hold on to so I went flying backwards. I am so glad I crumpled because all I hit was the center console instead of going through the windshield. I hit my left hip and back on the console. Jeff pulled me out of my position while trying to drive along with trying to get off the first exit. We were lucky that the 1st exit had a hospital at it. It took a bit to find the ER due to the hospital grounds been huge and confusing. Jeff went and got someone and they tried to get me out by me walking out of the RV and putting me in a wheelchair. Yeah, I was in so much pain I had to couldn't breathe at times. An ambulance came in RIGHT after us and the guys came over with their strecther and backboard. They moved me facing out the RV door and helped me slide, belly down, onto the backboard then the stretcher. I got wheeled in and left in a hallway. I stayed there the whole time. It took them a bit to see me. Then it took them a bit to get me x-rays as I am close to my period and they wanted to make sure I wasn't pregnant. It took them a bit to get my pee as it hurt like to hell to move and couldn't do a collection on my bed or cath as I was in the hallway. So 2 hours after I was wheeled in, they got my pee after it nearly knocking me out with the pain(i had to walk a few feet). I am not pregnant. 5 mins after I peed, the x-ray guy came. I got my very painful X-rays and got put back in my hallway. to be continued......
