So my appt with the Nephrologist went as expected. She had her idea about what was wrong with me before I even walked in the door; NOTHING! It is ok that a 28 yr old female to excreate potassium suddenly. Oh and even though it seems my potassium is fine (it is only low when I am "sick"), I should continue to take it. And that me being exhausted/fatigued/paralyzed BEFORE taking the potassium and now that I am taking it and not having those problems doesn't mean that I truly have low potassium. HUH WHAT!???
Needless to say I am not going to see her again. Another one of those "give the medicine to the patient to placate her even though I know there is nothing wrong with her" doctors.
