Today George Bush was re-elected. Some have told me that it can only get better from here. That is so not true. Our environment can get WAY worse. More people will die. Our economy will keep going downhill. I am sad because I don't think people understand what a mistake our country has made. I am not proud to be an American- I am ashamed of it.
Not only was that asshole given another four years in office, but some of my friends have now become second-class citizens. People's rights were taken away by proposal 2, and it confuses me that in this day and age, something like this is allowed to happen. In the United States of America, we are NOT all considered equal... that was made plainly clear by the approval of proposal 2.
