Tanya Huff's books used for Blood Ties

We finally broke down and got DVR for our NY apartment about two months ago. What a convenience! I can finally get both figure skating and football, which are often broadcast at the same time.

As part of the new DVR use, I started recording whole series of programs, including Blood Ties. Of course, I only caught a few shows before Lifetime pulled it. I even downloaded a few episodes from iTunes. Then I needed a bigger fix. So I ordered all five novels plus short stories by Tanya Huff, who has a livejournal account as andpuff.livejournal.com

I got the first two novels in an omnibus double novel edition on Jan 11. I inhaled all five books plus the stories in about two weeks elapsed time. The characters are really fun. The actors who were chosen to do the characters are really good IMO. Christina Cox is just about perfect to be Vicki Nelson. Kyle Schmid creates a really sexy Henry Fitzroy (the vampire character) and Dylan Neal is a very believable Michael Celucci.

My favorite book of the series is Blood Trails, which gives a new and different twist to werewolf lore.

There is a possibility that the series will go to a full second season.
