SIDE NOTE:
IAO=Yod, Aleph, Vav= 17
17=The Star=Heh
Heh=The Great Mother who hides the three mother letters (Aleph and Mem and Shin totaling 341) in the Great Name: AHIHVH, which unites AHIH and IHVH. (Microprosipus and Macroprosipus)
The total innumeration of that name then, substituting the three Heh’s for the mother letters is then 358, the number of the Messiah and also of the Serpent. (341 + 17) IAO in conjunction with the Three Mothers.
Fluidic Fire:
· The star card as embodying the symbols of Aquarius: The woman pouring the dew of the stars upon her body and upon the earth where a river pours forth. (Is this a synonymous image to the High Priestess in the Waite Deck who is the origin of the lustral waters that permeate the life of the tree?)
· There is a large star above her head, in the G.D., this is the star Sirius
· She is Aima Elohim, (Where does this name originate from? I would translate this as the Fertile Mother of the Gods)
· A river flows from her feet where the waters are spilled, and it is identified with the river that “goes out from the Supernal Eden.”
· This river becomes 4 rivers: Descending from the “Supernal Eden to Daath… into four heads… Pison (fire)… into Geburah, Gihon (water)… into Chesed, Hiddikel (air) flowing into Tiphareth, and Phrath (earth) flowing into Malkuth. A
· After the “fall of Adam” YHVH ELHIM placed the name YHVH between the devastated Garden and the Supernal Eden. The four rivers then form a cross where the “second Adam” (Jesus) is crucified.
The vision of the 30th Aethyr, where it is said: “…for the rivers have rushed together and the name Yod-Heh-Vav-Heh is broken in a thousand pieces against the Cubic Stone.” Is, (according to Gunther) a prediction of the annihilation of the “Cross of Suffering,” or the throne of the Christian God and the destruction of the name YHVH which sealed it’s creation.
The Cubic Stone:
· The Throne of the Emperor, (Tzaddi?)
· Six sides : twelve lines : eight points = the number 26.
The Woman in the Star Card:
· Pours the bright dew upon herself = Heh Final
· And into the sand of the accursed Abyss which becomes a river= Heh Prima
· Gunther then says: “She is thus the Anima Mundi (Soul of the World) even as she is the Lady of the Great Sea, then gives a relevant passage from the Wake World, about this same woman “making Thunderbolts” with her washing.
The Thunderbolt:
· Liber 418 describes the Star as “Transformed, the holy virgin appeared as a fluidic fire, making her beauty into a thunderbolt.”
· Thunderbolt is Either the Swastika: the Hermetic Cross of 17 squares, Elements-Zodiacal signs-sun. Or the Flashing Sword: 10 Sephira.
· 17 is the number of both The Star and of IAO
· Hermetic Cross/Swastika is by shape Aleph, the number 1, Kether. There is thus an affinity.
· The 8 fold alchemical/messianic star is said to get its light from the path of Aleph.
· Thunderbolt is also the “Flaming Sword” that unites the 10 sephira of the tree of life, “hurled forth by Kether to unite the ten Sephiroth.”
· This second form of the Thunderbolt is balanced by the Serpent that twines about the paths of the tree, uniting all twenty two of its numbers and Gunther links this up with the “Serpent of Brass” of Moses, what he calls “The Prototypical Messiah.”
Implications of this:
· Sword=10 The Flashing Sword
· Serpent=22 The Serpent (__________)
· 32 is the great name AHIHVH, the union of Macro and Microprosipus. IAO (Yod-Aleph-Vav) and the three mothers, (Shin-Mem-Aleph) for a total of 358.
· 358= Messiah (Mem-Shin-Yod-Cheth) and Serpent (Nun-Cheth-Shin)
Read Liber 418 the first Aethyr to see the Thunderbolt as a symbol of the Messiah
(A rough interpretation: The Messiah is sent forth from the one as a “Whirling Thunderbolt” to “Guard the Ways”. This sending forth will then heal the impurity of the “grey city in the old and desolate land…”, This guarding of the ways is then going to be identified with Gunther as the name: V.V.V.V.V., The flaming sword placed in the East of Eden to “Keep the way of the Tree of Life.” The line he references comes from Liber Trigrammaton: “The master flamed forth as a star and set a guard of Water in every Abyss.”
Guard if Water:
· The Decending Triangle of Water, (which takes the shape of a V)
· Also called: “The Heart of Blood” (From Where? Thanks for the references Gunther!)
Every Abyss:
· The Five paths that intersect the Abyss on the tree: Vav-Heh-Gimel-Cheth-Zain (Is there a significance in the enumeration? 28???!!!
· Gunther says that these 5 V’s that cover these paths “Conceals and Reveals the name” and references The Book of Lies: “Now and again Travelers cross the desert; they come from the Great Sea, and to the Great Sea they go. -As they go they spill water; one day they will irrigate the desert, till it flower. -See! Five footprints of a Camel! V.V.V.V.V
This leads us back to the Messiah: “The Voice which shooketh the earth”
(Messiah=Christ=Mercury=Flashing Sword=VVVVV)
Liber VII says: “On ancient skin was written in letters of gold: Verbum fit Verbum. -Also Vitriol and the Heirophant’s name V.V.V.V.V. -All this wheeled in fire, in star-fire, rare and far and utterly lonely-“ (Notice the 8 V’s contained in the verse, Gunther says that this is the “emblem of confirmation for this mystery.) The 8-fold star, the star of the Messiah whose word is to transform the world.
He is not to be worshiped as were the messiah’s of the past, his word is to “intoxicate the innermost, not the outermost.”
The New Aeon Messiah:
· Likened unto an amaranth blossom: The flower that never fades.
· Blown by the wind
· He is the guardian of the abyss
· He who is like a Woman that jetteth out the milk of the stars from her paps.
· BABALON!!!! (What the hell bro?! Come on with this criss-crossing symbolism!!!)
“And for this is BABALON under the power of the Magician, that she hath submitted herself unto the work; and she gaurdeth the Abyss. And in her is a perfect purity of that which is above; yet she is sent as the Redeemer to them that are below. For there is no other way into the Supernal Mystery but through her, and the Beast on which she rideth…” -Liber 418 3rd Aethyr.
The mystery of redemption:
· Traditionally the repayment of a ransom
o Jesus’ blood sacrifice
o The paying back of some debt
· Heh-final as Coins in the Tarot
o Restored by “restoring the daughter to the Throne of the Mother”
o V.V.V.V.V, the messenger of Babalon who carried Her word, that word which embodied the means of “Crossing the Abyss.”
o The price is paid with our own individual blood, not the blood payment of another
· The Neophyte robe is then adorned with the descending red Triangle, or “Heart of Blood.” Signifying the aspirants commitment to the Great Work and the ultimate outpouring of that Blood into the Cup of Babalon; of which it is also an emblem.
