Unpleasant Tidings and Update on Morna
So it's been approximately 6 weeks since Morna had surgery to remove the tumor on her face. Last week, I noticed a pea-sized spur where the tumor used to be. This week, it's begun to change the shape of her face again. The tumor has at least doubled in size and is blackening her eye again.
I've called all the doctors and told them what's going on. Tomorrow after my prior engagements, I'm taking Morna to see the plastic surgeon who operated on her. Thursday, we're going to have her MRI and CAT scans - a full month earlier than we had scheduled the preventative care/follow-up MRI with possible CAT scan if evidence presented itself that it was necessary. Surgery is imminent and if it is unable to correct her issue, she may undergo chemotherapy anyway.
I need a longer vacation - like a month or two, okay?
I don't think I'm going to take classes this next semester. I can't really afford the distraction anymore. My coping ability is swiftly being depleted to zero, where I just can't take on anything else. Blaaaaaaah!
