This is the winter from hell

And no, not because of the weather, which has been unusually mild. It's because my family just can not seem to get healthy. Since the first week of December there hasn't been a day when more than one or two members of my family has been healthy simultaneously. Here we are mid January, and even now three out of four of us are sick. It's all respiratory stuff, it's all miserable, and we're all heartily ready for spring. We're generally a very healthy bunch, so this has been frustrating, especially for my daughter who, having had a flu shot, has been just as sick, just as often, as the rest of us.

It's all over the news that this is a bad flu season. I'm even seeing the word epidemic bandied about. All I know is, I'm ready for it to be over.
