Self study guide and source materials for Courtier trials
I'm putting my guidelines, and source materials for projects all in one place so I don't have to keep tracking them down or scrolling back through my facebook to find them.
Inspiration for my scroll- the wording will be replaced with my persona's introduction and an explanation of why I want to test to (hopefully) become a Courtier of Blatha An Oir, I'm going to try to keep the colors and design of the art as close to the original as possible, although I may need to change the illuminated letter depending on how the introduction goes. I want to find a place where I can print this out in color in the appropriate size to help me block it out with the new text.

Here is information, description of steps, back ground and even teaching notes on Renaissance Italian dances, including the one I plan to teach Ballo del Fiore. Note to self: I will need to plan to bring flowers (traditionally roses, but potentially the BAO daffodils if I can find them) either fresh or good fakes. This is a very social/ flirty dance.
Ballo del Fiore Start this dance on the right foot.
To begin the dance: Rv + 2 doubles in a circle (first man only).
Main dance: 4 doubles to a partner, continenze right, left, riverenza.
2 doubles + 2 scorsi on to the floor, continenze right, left, riverenza.
4 doubles in a curve, Cn, Cn, Rv. 4 doubles in a zig-zag, Cn, Cn, Rv.
Exchange the flower then repeat.

I'm hoping to make progress on getting an updated Junior Marshal authorization for rapier and heavy combat tonight. Sometime in the next couple of months I need to take the time to either go to an archery practice, or make it over to the archery/ thrown weapons field at an event and see about becoming a junior marshal for one or both of those as well.
