Blah blah blah i don't like my job, no-one will hire me blah blah
So about 9.30 this morning Fairfax Media ring me up and tell me they want to hire me. fill in the form we're sending you for the 'due process', and we'll get an offer of employment out to you asap.
FINALLY! I've been waiting to hear back from them for like a month...
Yay! Life is good!
So about 3.00 this afternoon, my boss calls me upstairs and says 'blah blah blah youre talents are being wasted in your current position, we want you offer you a position helping Esther manage the scheduling in our database..."
Which is sort of [although not completely] out of the blue, and would fix my 'my job is actually to be a courier driver problem', not to mention my seething stress about driving a big blind van through rush hour traffic....
But now what? Which do I accept?
My biggest problem is that I applied with fairfax so long ago i can't remember much about the position >.<
I don't think it was that well defined in the first place
The job at Online isn't well defined either...
Someone, give me thinking points to help me choose a course of action... PLEASE!!!
On the actual upside [unless its another cruel joke by life which i havn't seen the punchline yet], apparently we got the other flat - NO MORE HORRIBLE FLAT OF MOLD FOR US! YAY!
