I'm goin' to Disney World
I'm off to Disney World tomorrow to see my good friend from high school Rich. He just returned from the persian gulf on his first tour. Looks like he was staged in case problems happened with Iran cutting the seals on the nuke research, as well as other interesting stuff. His dad tells me that he also had to go on small PT craft up rivers with desert on either side praying there wasn't anyone with an RPG. I think it was tough for him and he's very glad to be back.
It'll be my first real vacation in a while, and i'm looking forward to it. Disney world is really a pretty cool place with LOTS to do besides kids rides. Even a whole "Pleasure Island" full of different themed clubs (one even a comedy club). I need the break, as much as i love my job. We've hit record sales the last few months and i've been burning the candle at both ends (since i still have to deal with production stuff a bit). The good news is people are buying the computer i designed, and many more are interested. So far i've tracked some of the work i've done on other boards to interesting places: Mammogram machines, The International Space Station, and possibly even US Security monitoring systems in the near future. Its great to know you're contributing to society, but its also time for a break. I hope its sunny in Florida... Mebbe i'll post picures on my facebook account when i get back.
