Dong Hae and Kyu Hyun were sitting quietly when Sung Min appeared and sat near Kyu Hyun.
“His fever broke, but he still needs to be in bed. Dong Hae, take him to see a doctor.” Sung Min said. Dong Hae handed him the papers and Sung Min’s eyes went wide. “Siwon did it?” Dong Hae nodded and stood up.
He entered quietly the bedroom and lay near Hyuk Jae, the later eyes opened and Dong Hae smiled and placed soft kisses on Hyuk Jae’s forehead, eyes, nose and lips.
“Hae...”
“I’m here, I won’t leave.”
“Siwon…”
“I know, I saw the papers. We will do it only if you want to, but we will think about it later, okay? Rest now.” Dong Hae kissed Hyuk Jae one more time and hugged him.
“I want it.” Whispered Hyuk Jae and drifted back to dreamland.
Dong Hae looked at his lover sleeping face and wondered what will happen if Hyuk Jae won’t make it. He loved him so much, and every second he spent with him his love just became bigger. He sighed; when he first met Hyuk Jae he was sure that Hyuk Jae just play hard to get but when he found out about cancer he adored the red head for his approach to life and how realistic he was. After what happened tonight Dong Hae knew that he loves Hyuk Jae too much and he did stupid thing.

Hyuk Jae spent almost all day in bed sleeping, but Dong Hae was busy with cooking. After what Sung Min and Kyu Hyun did for him he promised them Christmas dinner and now he was busy with making cookies.
“Smells good.” Dong Hae almost dropped tray with cookies and Hyuk Jae giggled.
“You scared hell out of me.” Dong Hae said and touched Hyuk Jae’s forehead, the later closed his eyes. “Your fever gone down, I will make you something to eat.”
“Not hungry.” Hyuk Jae said and grabbed cookie.
“Yah! This not for now!” Dong Hae tried to sound angry but he was too happy see that Hyuk Jae alright.
“Dong Hae… About… Japan… Let’s try it. I can’t just let this go by. I don’t want die, not now, not when I got you.” Hyuk Jae said and looked at his hands. Dong Hae smiled and kissed him and Hyuk Jae felt so relieved, first time in few months he got hope and now maybe he will make it and all these years will be just bad dream.

Christmas dinner was loud, Sora came with her boyfriend and Sung Min and Kyu Hyun came too. They were laughing and Sora told embarrassed stories about Hyuk Jae, making the later blush with deep red color. Hyuk Jae in other hand got more serious weapon and show all Sora’s childhood photos. Hyuk Jae told Sora about Japan and that he decided to leave after Christmas with Dong Hae. Sora looked happy about that and said that she will visit them often.
Sora and her boyfriend excused themselves and left after the dinner, but before that Hyuk Jae gave her his present.
“Thank you noona, for everything.” She hugged him and placed soft kiss on his check.
“Let’s open our presents!” Said Kyu Hyun, Hyuk Jae smiled and nodded. He got out of his pocket a little box and handed it to Dong Hae. Dong Hae looked curiously on it and then opened it; he saw golden necklace with little fish.
“Hyukie…” He said.”I don’t know that to say… Thank you.” He kissed Hyuk Jae.
“Find a room.” Kyu Hyun said and Sung Min punched him. “Yah!”
Dong Hae placed his present on Hyuk Jae’s lap. Hyuk Jae opened it carefully and saw new sneakers.
“I saw you looking at them few weeks ago, but now I feel like I could get you something better.” Dong Hae said and Hyuk Jae shacked his head. “When you get better, you can dance while wearing them.” Hyuk Jae hugged Dong Hae and whispered “Thank you.”

They were at airport, waiting for the check in. Hyuk Jae holds tight Dong Hae’s hand, afraid to let go.
“I’m scared.” Hyuk Jae whispered and Dong Hae hugged him.
“Everything going to be okay.” Dong Hae answered. They asked Sung Min, Kyu Hyun and Sora not to come and after many convictions they agreed. Hyuk Jae looked at the tickets in his hand and sighed “My last hope… I want to be strong and win. I won’t let Dong Hae come back alone.”
“Let’s go.” Said Dong Hae and Hyuk Jae nodded again. They both hoped for miracle, and were ready to fight for it.

Dong Hae P.O.V
It has been almost three years since I met Hyuk Jae, my Hyuk Jae. The most kind person in this world, with his adorable gummy smile. We went through tough times with his disease and in one point, when we almost lost our hope he got second chance. Until today I can’t thank Siwon for what he did for us.
When we landed in Japan, Hyuk Jae barely walked, he got fever in the plane and instead of going to our new home we spent the first night in hospital.
His treatment started few days later, when I picked him up he looked fine but the moment we got home he vomited. It lasted for hours; he couldn’t eat or drink, he puked everything that went into his mouth for that day. He fell asleep on the floor in the bathroom that night and I cried in silence, trying my best to not wake him up because he needed that sleep and he needed me to be strong.
After almost 2 weeks Hyuk Jae couldn’t get up from bed. He laid with fever, his dreams are nightmares and he shacked so bad that the bed moved too. I picked him up and rushed to the hospital begging to help him, save him, just do something to easy his pain. Early in morning they let me see him, he was tucked with blankets but he smiled when he saw me and bare whisper came out “Sorry”. They told me that he should stay at hospital; his body couldn’t cope with the therapy, if this side effect will continue he will die. I nodded and cried myself to sleep.
Hyuk Jae stayed at hospital and I was alone at our apartment, trying not to give up on my trainee duties. It have been almost one month since we came to Japan and I got a call from hospital, they told me that Hyuk Jae in critical state and I should come. I rushed there, not carrying about what my teacher said to me. When I reached hospital I saw Hyuk Jae; he looked so pale and fragile, there is oxygen mask on his face. His eyes were closed and I touched his hand, he opened his eyes and looked at me, after few seconds he closed them again. I stayed with him that night and the next day.
Surprisingly after that day he got better - he could eat and even take small walks outside. When the first test results came back the doctors were optimistic. He fought with all his might, I never could be more proud of him.
When the doctor called us and told us that Hyuk Jae’s body free from cancer cells we couldn’t help but cried. When Hyuk Jae called his sister and Sung Min he cried again and I just hugged him telling that we can go back home now, start a new life.
When we came back to Korea, Sung Min made a welcome party. We all were drunk that night and the world couldn’t be better.
Right now I’m sitting in my waiting room, ready for my first live broadcast. Hyuk Jae sitting next to me, he’s going to perform with me today.
“What do you think?” Said Hyuk Jae and stood up, he was wearing blue shirt and his blond hair was pretty wild. And then I noticed his sneakers. Hyuk Jae smiled “Oh, you said I can wear them when I get better. I think they are my lucky pair!” He giggled and I kissed him.
“Dong Hae, 2 minutes.” The director said and I nodded. We started new life and although we know that Hyuk Jae’s cancer can comeback we trying out hard to be happy and live the moment.
