Inspired by their family picture :D

A NORMAL DAY IN THE CHOI HOUSEHOLD

Mornings are the best time of the day for Siwon. Aside from it being the start of a new day, waking up next to the most beautiful person in the world made it the best. Just by watching the perfection of a person who shared ‘I Do’s with him six years ago, sleeping, makes his morning mood good.

As he examined, as always, the older male’s features, he realized how he is the luckiest man to have this flawless man in his arms every single day God has created. His undying faith in the Almighty One seemed to have paid off for he was given the best blessing one could ever have.

Minutes after, the man beside him slowly opened his eyes, a lovely smile immediately forming on those luscious lips he would love to devour anytime. Like usual he returned the smile.

“Good morning, my queen.” He whispered against his husband’s lips, causing for the latter to smile wider. Every morning they create endearments for each other. Just like yesterday, Siwon was prince, Yesung was princess; and the other morning Siwon was gorgeous horsey, while Yesung is the beautiful turtle. Stuff like that.

“Good morning, too, my king.” Came Yesung’s husky reply. Yesung’s morning voice never failed to arouse him that it hurts sometimes since he doesn’t want his husband limping for the whole day. It is his fault for marrying the person who has the best voice ever. No regrets, though.

Truly, Yesung is a blessing from God. Yesung is beautiful, talented, (sexy) and very understanding. They rarely fight for they agreed on not making things a big deal. See how perfect his other half is? In addition, who would have thought that their love for each other would bear fruits, such lovely fruits, you say. Not everyone could experience this rare opportunity.

He leaned in to capture the pair of lips he loves the most, however, it looked like the noisy and outrageous morning had started. He could only groan.

“APPA UMMAAAAA!!!!!” a loud high-pitched voice was heard in their room, and soon after, both Siwon and Yesung felt slight weight in between their bodies.

“GOOD MORNING, APPA UMMA~” The youngest among their five-year old twins, the ever so hyper Donghae, bounced on the bed, a wide grin on his cute youthful face.

Yesung chuckled as he sat properly and placed a chaste kiss on his son’s cheek. “Good morning, baby. Had a good sleep?” They stopped bothering to ask the boy on why he is so hyper for it always happens every morning.

Donghae beamed. “Yesh! HaeHae dweamed of awiens pwaying with HaeHae then, then, then, awiens bwing HaeHae to other pwanet then, then, then, HaeHae fwy with birds…” and so the alien dream story continues. They already memorized it. Yesung only smiled at how cute his baby is.

Donghae can speak properly already, but his baby mind wanted him to stay speaking as cutely as that, unlike their eldest who seemed a bit matured for his age. Siwon didn’t mean that in a positive way because it is giving him headaches recently.

“HaeHae, where is MinMin?” the father of the household asked, successfully stopping Donghae from blabbering.

At this, much to their confusion, Donghae paled. And then the baby cried.

Siwon and Yesung glanced at each other with knowing looks before the latter placed Donghae on his lap, rubbing the youngster’s back to hush him down. “Baby, tell umma what’s wrong.”

“MinMin put wibbon on Nemo!” Donghae wailed. “Nemo ish booooyyyy!”

The couple merely sighed. Sungmin is at it again. Their princess’s creative side is alive and they know that their stuffs are in danger right now. Before anything goes worse, both stood up and went to where Sungmin is.

The older twin is in his room, sitting on his pink bed. They looked around the room, especially on the pink side of it, but found nothing suspicious aside from Donghae’s Nemo plushy with a pink ribbon on its head. Or maybe that’s what they thought at first.

On the pink bed, there Yesung saw his turtle’s cage and in it, a pink turtle was crawling. Yesung initially thought that there was a new turtle in the house, but he recognized the animal as his loving pet.

“Ddangkkoma!” Yesung screeched as he ran towards the bed and held the glass cage. He didn’t notice Sungmin jumping on his bed in surprise. He stared at his poor turtle sadly, tears welling in his eyes. “My poor baby…” Siwon bit his lip to prevent himself from laughing.

“What poor?” Sungmin asked, an eyebrow arched. “Mommy, Ddangkkie is now pretty like Minnie~!” Ever since Sungmin heard the word, ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’ from his aunt Heechul, the five-year old had used it because ‘it sounds pretty like Minnie.’

The boy was not aware of the crestfallen look on his mother’s face. Though this was not the first time this happened. Before, Ddangkkoma’s shell was painted with rainbow colors.

Yesung wanted to burst out and shout at Sungmin, but he didn’t want to see his son’s infamous puppy eyes so he took a deep breath to calm himself down. “Baby, Ddangkkoma is a guy, like Nemo.”

Sungmin eyed Yesung as if he just said the weirdest thing ever. “Mommy, Ddangkkie and Nemo don’t have balls so they are girls.”

Siwon and Yesung gasped loudly at that.

“Where did you learn that?!” Siwon yelled while stomping inside the room.

“Appa, this ish a ball, wight?” Donghae picked a blue ball on the floor and showed it innocently to Siwon, who frustratingly sighed and got back to Sungmin.

The boy wearing a pink long-sleeved bunny-printed top and pajamas tilted his head cutely, his doe eyes turning a bit bigger. That is what Siwon and Yesung didn’t want to happen. Sungmin’s aegyo is one of their weaknesses.

“Auntie Chullie said that boys have balls smaller than what HaeHae is holding. I don’t see anything round on Ddangkkie and Nemo aside from their head and eyes.” Sungmin explained as if he is thirteen years old, though his appearance contradicted it. At this, Siwon could only palm his forehead. He will not let Sungmin stay with Heechul anymore.

Yesung, who had no idea on how to explain things to his eldest son, passed the obligation to his husband. “I’ll just wash Ddangkkoma’s shell. You could start bathing them. I’ll follow as soon as I finish cleaning this.”

They heard Sungmin gasp dramatically. “You’re gonna clean my work?! Mommy, that’s too harsh!”

Yesung was not able to stop himself from rolling his eyes but Sungmin didn’t mind it. “Honey, mommy will just… err… fix the color.” Before he could hear more whining from Sungmin, he took the cage and dashed to the bathroom.

Sungmin seemed unfazed with his mother’s irritation for his face brightened once he remembered something. The pink lover brought out a book graced by his new glittery sequins and a big Barbie sticker on the center, and showed it to his fuming father.

“Daddy~! Your bible looks pretty like Minnie now~!” Sungmin squealed proudly while observing his masterpiece. He didn’t know his father is already mentally praying to all the saints up there.

“Barbie!” Donghae bounced as he skipped towards his older twin and looked at their father’s new Barbie bible. “MinMin made it?”

“Yes, HaeHae. Is HaeHae proud of MinMin?”

“YESH!”

The bunny beamed and patted his younger twin’s head. “That’s a good fish!” Donghae likes it whenever he was called as a fish because he sees himself as the cartoon character, Nemo.

Siwon, who have had enough of his squealing children’s weirdness (which they obviously got from their mother), sighed heavily and spoke in his most authoritative voice, “Choi Sungmin and Choi Donghae,” once he speaks that way, both boys will shut up and listen to him. “Bathroom. Now.”

Sungmin and Donghae quietly complied then headed to their room’s bathroom (each bedroom in the house has its own bathroom because Daddy Siwon is rich).

Siwon stared at his poor bible sadly for a while and hid it somewhere his kids wouldn’t find (at the top of a tall bookshelf) before following his twins to the bathroom.

“God, please forgive them for they don’t know they have sinned.” He chanted in his mind.

┐( ̄ー ̄)┌

“Christmas is finally here, it’s time to celebrate ‘cos you make a better world-”

Siwon and Yesung smiled while listening to their twins happily singing to a Super Junior song. The boys are weirdly fans of this boy group who are old already for their generation. Then again, as loyal as a fan could be, Sungmin would argue that, ‘Age is just a number, daddy~’ he doesn’t know where he got that, and Donghae would merely nod at whatever Sungmin said, though their youngest didn’t know what that meant.

Nevertheless, Siwon was so proud that Sungmin and Donghae inherited their mother’s singing skill. Their dilemmas this morning were completely forgotten.

“EAR AFTER EAAAARRR~” Donghae sang loudly at the backseat.

“HaeHae! It’s not ‘ear after ear!’ It’s Year after Year~” Sungmin reprimanded his younger twin, emphasizing the letter Y in the word ‘year.’

“Okay! Yyyyyyear after… ear~”

“HaeHae! You almost got it!”

“Sowwy, MinMin, HaeHae can’t sing it~” Yesung almost cooed at the cute pouting face of his youngest.

Sungmin sighed and hugged his younger brother. “It’s okay, HaeHae, we’ll ask for Kibummie’s help later, ne?” At that, Donghae beamed and hugged his older twin back.

After hearing the kids’ conversation at the backseat, Siwon interrupted, his eyes still focused on the road. “And who is that Kibummie?”

“A friend.” Sungmin nonchalantly answered, unaffected by arching of the infamous Shibrows.

“I thought Hyukjae’s your only friend?”

“ONLY? Daddy, are you kidding me? Choi Sungmin to have only ONE friend?! Daddy, Hyukkie’s my super duper best friend forever and ever, but that doesn’t mean he’s my only friend!” Sungmin ranted while thrashing his arms everywhere dramatically.

Siwon was about to say something, more like to start his litany about boys, but Yesung held his hand and announced, “We’re here at school!”

The moment Siwon stopped the car in front of the school’s gate, Donghae and Sungmin stood up to kiss their parents’ cheeks before running outside and meet their classmates.

“Why did you stop me?” Siwon asked his spouse while watching their kids talk to their friends. He got a laugh as a response.

“HaeHae is too innocent for what you’re thinking of.”

“Sungmin is not.” Siwon retorted, which Yesung didn’t bother denying at all. Still, he has to ensure his husband that boys are still not in their babies’ minds and he has to relax. (They kind of predicted that their babies belong in the Team Bottom)

“I’ve already seen that Kibum boy and he seemed like a very nice one,” he pulled off his oh-so-lovely smile that it definitely melted Siwon’s heart for the nth time. “It’s still early, baby. You could still drop by at the café and drink some coffee before going to work.”

Siwon smiled and kissed his husband’s knuckles before stepping on the accelerator to head for Yesung’s café, Mouse Rabbit.

For the Choi Family, dinner is the most important part of the day. The Choi couple always makes sure that the four of them are complete on the table. They would share stories of their day, they would laugh together at something, but they never brought out something bad to ruin the mood.

Now that the four of them have gathered around the table, it is time to start the meal with a prayer, just like what Siwon always tells them to do.

“Okay, Baby HaeHae, it’s your turn.” Yesung said to the boy beside him, patting his head.

Donghae excitedly put his hands together and closed his eyes. “Dear God, pweash bwess our food because it’s yummy because umma cooked it so thank you for the food and appa and umma and MinMin and HaeHae and Nemo and awiens and Ddangkkie-”

“Amen!” Sungmin shouted to end Donghae’s endless prayer which was the same thing, that even Siwon and Yesung followed saying ‘amen.’ Donghae didn’t mind, though; he just happily ate the fried chicken on his plate.

“So, how’s school?” Siwon started the conversation, watching Yesung wipe the small piece of dirt on Donghae’s cheek.

Donghae smiled widely and started bouncing on the chair. “Appa! We have a new classmate!” Siwon thought he heard a snort from Sungmin but chose to ignore it.

“Really? What’s your new classmate’s name?”

“Cho Kyuhyun! He’sh a ge… ge… geni… smart!”

“He’s a nerd!” Sungmin suddenly butted in, his short arms crossed, and his M-shaped lips formed to a cute pout.

“He’s a candy?” Donghae innocently asked, causing for Sungmin to roll his eyes.

“No way! He’s rude, snarky, a brat, and ugly!”

“But MinMin, HaeHae heard you say Kyuhyun ish… ish… handsome…?” Donghae whispered.

Yesung just watched in amusement while Siwon had his eyes widely opened, as well as Sungmin.

“WHAT?!” Siwon and Sungmin shrieked at the same time. Donghae quickly covered his ears and leaned on Yesung, who merely laughed at the other two’s reaction and hugged his crouching son.

“What did I just hear, Choi Sungmin?” Siwon angrily faced his first son.

“What Cho Sungmin? Wait- what?! I didn’t say anything!!!” Sungmin’s face is now as red as the ketchup on their fried chicken.

Yesung kept on laughing while listening to the two arguing. Siwon is such a cute overprotective father, while Sungmin is so cute blushing like that. Even before they got married, Siwon was already protective of him, which sometimes causes their misunderstandings, but they went past through it. And now, it looked like Siwon misses being protective over someone, and their eldest son was the victim.

“Guys, guys, let’s just eat.” Yesung attempted on stopping the arguing father and son. It was Siwon who stopped talking first before Sungmin got completely silent and resumed eating. Sungmin’s voice was only heard when he scolded Donghae for being a dirty eater.

o( ̄∇ ̄)o

Siwon ended his prayer (mainly for Sungmin not to have a boyfriend at the age of five) and smiled, releasing a sigh of relief for his day is about to end. As usual, the day was tiring since he had to take care of two very naughty kids, one acts like a spoiled princess while the other one is an adorable ball of energy. It’s exhausting, but it is also fun. Why not, those two are the second best thing that happened in his life. He will forever treasure them.

The first one, of course, is the one with him all throughout his life as a parent. The one who had been holding his hand when he’s doubtful about something, the one who had been hugging him to reassure him that things will be alright, and the one who had been kissing him to show him that he is loved. Now that he has everything, he could never wish for more.

A wider smile formed on his lips when he felt a finger on his philtrum. It’s a good thing none of his sons took it from him.

“Thinking of me?” a soothing voice disturbed his thoughts.

He turned to his side and gave Yesung’s lips a peck. “You know I’m always thinking of you.”

Yesung giggled. “Cheesy. We should sleep now. You’re so stressed.” Siwon closed his eyes and hummed in affirmation as his spouse massaged his forehead. But then an idea crossed his mind.

“Baby,” he whispered as he snaked his arms around Yesung’s waist. “You know how to wash my stress away.” He smirked lightly. Plus, Yesung clad in thin white shirt and sweatpants can pass as a model in a porn magazine, especially that those yummy collarbones are exposed.

Yesung’s laugh was like music to his ears. It could lighten up his day, but for now, it sounded erotic that his pants immediately felt too fit on him just by hearing that.

“Of course, I do.” A smirking Yesung climbed on Siwon’s lap and pushed the latter on the bed to start the process of de-stressing his husband.

Go back to the first paragraph for the happenings on the next day in the Choi Family’s life.

Just wanna establish the daily life and personality of the Choi Family hehe sooo… how is it so far? I decided to make this a mini series, so there will be more scenes with the outrageous Choi Family hehe ^^
