Holler to my fellow comrades,
(unfortunately, I have read animal farm by the great George Orwell and desire to take part in such a disastrous totalitarian system. Not really, since the most successful government to survive the throws of time has always been a democracy, which has its own faults sure but there seems to be a lack in success when it comes to every other government so ultimately I prefer to participate in what seems fair.)

I have returned to school, unwillingly I might add, yet happy. Senior year's summer was grand. Just name something and I did it. I've worn the uniform of toture, sat in the desk of boredom, and painted the walls of night clubs, admiring bands in the Viper Room or simply enjoying amateurs at Ground Zero or the Coffee Klatch, I even went to a concert where the guy gave pretty good impersonations of Frank Sinatra and Johnny Maddox, (only a bunch of the best musicians ever! But this is highly opinionated and I should suggest that we remain in our own comfort zones.) and last but not the least enjoyed the company of the Jumping Jack Flash, Rolling Stones impersonators who deserve to be applauded for their audacity and talent to ruin such a good band's reputation despite their claim of the word "tribute". But that's not the end of it, on goes the story... back to school.

I was quite reluctant to be going back, heck I was late for my first period but that was exempted and I don't think Mr. James even realized me slipping in to the last seat nearest to the door as he gave out our schedules. Anyway, I had had summer homework for a few classes, which I did the day before a big mistake, I know. I'm still amazed at the fact that I read 4 novels in one day and managed to write about them and turn in the work the next, I suppose being a procrastinator has its cons because I was tired but I made it. I got Senior Messages Editor, not a surprise... I quit Acadec (Academic Decathalon- just didn't have time). I'm in folklorico, Editor for CALM magazine, might join Speech and Debate team to compete, I have 3 college classes, so I'm pretty much booked. I need to begin my application to my desired universities and private schools Harvy Mudd is very interesting. All I can say is that even with all this I'll be working weekends and try to balance my social life. Impossible, huh? It's fun and I intend to survive the rest of the year. Especially if I decide to join the Speech and Debate team because that includes Mock Trial, Leos, Kiwins, maybe even Interact. Senior Year... well on its way. It makes me wonder why I was ever reluctant in the first place.

Toodles and CHEERS

Much love from Berniner
